Globler is designed to work without creating an account. Most game data stays on your device. We collect limited information to operate the App, process purchases, and understand how the App is used.
By using Globler, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
The App stores game-related data locally on your device using on-device storage, including:
This data is not uploaded to our servers unless you choose to share it (for example, by using the share feature).
When you first open the App, we generate a random anonymous identifier (UUID) and store it on your device. We use this identifier to:
This identifier is not your name, email, or phone number, and we do not require you to sign in.
We use Amplitude to collect analytics about how the App is used. This may include:
Analytics are tied to your anonymous identifier. We do not intentionally collect your name, email address, or precise location through analytics.
In development/debug builds, analytics may be disabled or logged locally only.
Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play, not directly by us. We use RevenueCat to manage entitlements and subscription status.
RevenueCat and the app stores may receive:
Payment card and billing details are handled by Apple or Google according to their policies. We do not receive your full payment card number.
Our paid products include:
| Product | Type | What it unlocks |
|---|---|---|
| Globler Pro | One-time purchase | All past puzzles and one random hint per puzzle |
| Globler Ultra | Auto-renewing subscription (weekly or monthly) | All past puzzles and all hints, including “Learn more” content |
Actual prices are shown in the App and may vary by region, currency, and store.
If you use the share feature, you choose what to send through your device’s share sheet (for example, Messages, email, or social apps). We do not receive the contents of those shares unless you contact us directly.
If you contact support by email, we receive whatever information you include in your message.
The App may open third-party websites (for example, encyclopedia or reference articles linked from “Learn more”). Those sites have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.
Globler does not:
Some device permissions may appear because of platform or third-party libraries (for example, internet access for purchases and analytics). The App’s core gameplay does not require access to your contacts.
We use the information described above to:
We do not sell your personal information.
If you are in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process personal data on these bases:
| Purpose | Legal basis |
|---|---|
| Providing the App and local save data | Performance of a contract / legitimate interests |
| Analytics | Legitimate interests (App improvement) |
| Purchases and subscription management | Performance of a contract |
| Support communications | Legitimate interests / consent where applicable |
| Legal compliance | Legal obligation |
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests where applicable under local law.
You can delete your on-device game data from Settings → Delete data in the App. This removes progress, streaks, badges, puzzle history, and related local preferences. Sound settings may be preserved. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting local data does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Manage subscriptions through the App Store or Google Play.
You can restore previous purchases from the paywall or subscription management screen.
Depending on your platform and region, you may limit ad/analytics tracking through your device settings (for example, Limit Ad Tracking on iOS or Opt out of Ads Personalization on Android). Amplitude analytics in Globler are used for product analytics, not advertising profiles, but platform controls may still affect some data collection by SDKs.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at info@marioiannotta.com.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
Globler is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Our service providers (including Amplitude and RevenueCat) may process data in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information processed through the App and our providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Because most gameplay data stays on your device, you are responsible for securing your device.
